Concept
In order to be prepared for the future with modern and Object-oriented languages, the Vision2u project has been developed in Java. For the image processing external libraries, e.g. OpenCV are partly used. As Java is not famous for its speed, operational speed has been increased by the use of external libraries. With Vision2u our goal is to develop an application optimized for industrial image processing. Vison2u is developed with primary focus on modularity and versatility. Functions are written so that they can be merged purposefully for a better performance. By the use of external libraries we have developed functions to solve problems on different platforms. In principle Vision2U is executable on all Java platforms.
